His Excellency Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the ninth Prime Minister of Malaysia, took the stage to witness the installation ceremony of the 2026–2028 Council Members of the ASEAN Retail-Chains Franchise Federation (ARFF). Political dignitaries and representatives from various countries, including representatives of the Brunei royal family, the Ambassadors of Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Russia, Hungary and Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from Nicaragua and honorary consuls in Southeast Asia, were present to witness the occasion. More than 600 guests from government departments, chambers of commerce and associations, the business community, investment institutions and the media gathered together for in-depth exchanges on regional economic coordination, cross-border investment, industrial cooperation, digitalisation, green development and corporate internationalisation.

Recently, the 2026 ASEAN Business Summit Forum was held in Malaysia. His Excellency Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the ninth Prime Minister of Malaysia, took the stage to witness the installation ceremony of the 2026–2028 Council Members of the ASEAN Retail-Chains Franchise Federation (ARFF). As Vice President of the ASEAN Retail-Chains Franchise Federation (ARFF), Chairman of ARFF China Representative Office, and Chairman of FengQi Group, Dr. Lu Peng was invited to attend the summit and participated in promoting multiple China–ASEAN enterprise cooperation mechanisms and project matchmaking initiatives.

本次峰会不仅是一次区域工商界的交流盛会,更释放出一个清晰信号:在全球供应链重构、区域经济一体化加快、企业国际化需求持续提升的背景下,东盟企业需要进一步摆脱 “各自为战” 的传统模式,通过跨国协同、资源整合、产业分工与能力互补,共同提升区域竞争力。

This summit was not only a major gathering for the regional business community, but also sent a clear signal: against the backdrop of global supply chain restructuring, accelerated regional economic integration and the growing demand for corporate internationalisation, ASEAN enterprises need to move further beyond the traditional model of “working independently” and jointly enhance regional competitiveness through cross-border collaboration, resource integration, industrial division of labour and complementary capabilities.

一、从 “单点出海” 走向 “区域协同”

I. From “Single-Point Overseas Expansion” to “Regional Collaboration”

马来西亚投资、贸易及工业部副部长沈志勤在峰会闭幕式上表示,东盟及 RCEP 成员国应加强跨国协作,发挥不同国家和地区的产业优势,逐步形成更加紧密的区域产业网络。

At the closing ceremony of the summit, YB Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia, stated that ASEAN and RCEP member countries should strengthen cross-border collaboration, leverage the industrial advantages of different countries and regions, and gradually form a more closely connected regional industrial network.

这一观点,与丰麒集团长期坚持的国际化发展思路高度契合。

This view is highly aligned with FengQi Group’s long-standing approach to international development.

尤其对于中国企业而言,进入马来西亚和东盟市场,不能只看短期贸易机会,更要重视本地化经营、合规体系、合作伙伴选择、供应链组织和长期市场建设。

For Chinese enterprises in particular, entering the Malaysian and ASEAN markets should not be limited to short-term trade opportunities. Greater attention should be paid to localised operations, compliance systems, partner selection, supply chain organisation and long-term market development.

峰会期间,FengQi Sdn. Bhd.(丰麒马来西亚公司)与 Yayasan Tun Razak(马来西亚敦拉萨基金会)建立合作伙伴关系,重点围绕现代农业、清真食品供应链及农产品加工等方向开展协同。

During the summit, FengQi Sdn. Bhd. established a partnership with Yayasan Tun Razak, with a focus on collaboration in modern agriculture, halal food supply chains, agricultural product processing and related areas.

This cooperation is of significant practical importance.

Malaysia is an important agricultural, food and halal industry market in ASEAN, as well as a key gateway connecting ASEAN, the Middle East and the global halal consumer market. Chinese enterprises have strong capabilities in agricultural equipment, digital agriculture, food processing, cold-chain logistics, supply chain management and quality traceability, while Malaysia enjoys advantages in location, market access, halal industry systems and regional cooperation networks.

双方的合作,不应止于一般商品贸易,而应进一步探索农业产业链协同、食品加工能力提升、清真食品供应链建设、农产品标准化、品牌化和区域市场联动。

The cooperation between the two sides should not be limited to general commodity trade. Instead, it should further explore agricultural industrial chain collaboration, the enhancement of food processing capabilities, the development of halal food supply chains, agricultural product standardisation, brand building and regional market connectivity.

Meanwhile, FengQi Global Network Sdn. Bhd. reached a cooperation agreement with Hundred Fold Media / Rootify Malaysia to jointly explore cooperation in brand communication, market reach, digital media and industrial collaboration.

当前,企业走向海外,产品能力只是基础,真正决定市场能否打开的,还包括品牌认知、本地传播、消费者沟通、数字化营销、渠道链接和长期运营能力。

At present, for enterprises expanding overseas, product capability is only the foundation. What truly determines whether a market can be opened also includes brand awareness, local communication, consumer engagement, digital marketing, channel connectivity and long-term operational capability.

尤其是中国企业进入马来西亚及东盟市场,不能简单复制国内的营销逻辑,要真正理解当地文化、消费习惯、媒介环境和市场节奏。

In particular, when Chinese enterprises enter the Malaysian and ASEAN markets, they cannot simply replicate domestic marketing logic. They must truly understand local culture, consumer habits, the media environment and market rhythms.

本次峰会期间,ARFF 与金鹰奖俱乐部、深圳市商业联合会、深圳市产业园区协会交换四方合作协议,围绕企业资源链接、跨境合作、项目转化和长期服务机制开展协同。

During the summit, ARFF exchanged a four-party cooperation agreement with the Golden Eagle Award Club, the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce and the Shenzhen Industrial Park Association, focusing on enterprise resource connection, cross-border cooperation, project transformation and long-term service mechanisms.

作为 ARFF 中国代表处主席及丰麒集团董事长,卢朋博士将积极参与相关合作机制的后续组织、协调与推动。

As Chairman of ARFF China Representative Office and Chairman of FengQi Group, Dr. Lu Peng will actively participate in the subsequent organisation, coordination and promotion of the relevant cooperation mechanisms.

丰麒集团将以此次峰会为新的起点,围绕中国企业出海东盟、东盟企业进入中国、产业资源双向流动、项目合作落地等方向,重点推进以下四项工作:

Taking this summit as a new starting point, FengQi Group will focus on Chinese enterprises expanding into ASEAN, ASEAN enterprises entering China, the two-way flow of industrial resources and the implementation of project-based cooperation.
